Math
The mathematics program emphasizes computational skills, problem-solving techniques, and mathematical structure. Students learn skills and concepts, practice analytical thinking, and study the use of the computer, statistics, measurement, consumer expenditures and budgeting. In addition, algebraic and geometric structures, logic, and analysis provide a sequential elective program for the college bound. Students electing Algebra II Advanced, Geometry Advanced, Pre-Calculus Advanced, AP Statistics, and AP Calculus must have teacher recommendation and departmental approval.
